What is it like to hike the Bighorn trail in May - Yellowstone National Park

This hike starts at the Bighorn Pass trailhead on the highway 191 side. May is a great time to hike in Yellowstone but sometimes you will be limited by snowpack that has not melted. It is a great time to spot wildlife.
