Some of My Pros:

Versatility - Princess Diana help introduce the the Toiletry Pouch 26 as a multifunctional fashion accessory. Allowing its owner to decide whether they would like to use it as a toiletry bag or a clutch. Many people take it one step further and convert the Toiletry Pouch 26 to a cross body bag by adding a strap.

Size - I purchased this item because I wanted to take advantage of the Toiletry Pouch's large size. I had recently purchased the Toiletry Pouch 15 and the Toiletry Pouch 19. My main intent when purchasing both items was to use them as catch-alls for my gym bag and work bags. However, I quickly realized that I enjoyed using them as a clutch vs. carrying everything in my pocket. I also like that the bags became conversation starters, especially being a man.

Price – I paid $445 plus a tax of $45 dollars for a final price of $490 dollars in July of 2019. Louis Vuitton has since then had multiple price increases. This item currently retails on the US Louis Vuitton website for $520.00 dollars. After tax here in Chicago of 10% I would pay about $602.00 if I wanted to buy this bag today (May 2020). Meaning the Toiletry Pouch 26 has increased $75 not including tax within a matter of one year. Many see this as a good investment.

Coveted/Popular - Investment is one of the reasons the Toiletry Pouch is also so coveted. Most resellers always charge well over retail price making the Toiletry Pouch 26 even more so in demand.There's not doubt that its popularity has helped the Toiletry Pouch 26 retain its value. These pieces are often sought after for that very specific reason. People know there is a demand and that they can up charge anyone who does not have a boutique near them. Even for people who can drive to a boutique in demand products are typically offered to well-known clients first.

Some of My Cons:

Price - Ironically enough, the price is also one of my cons. The price is a concern if whether the piece is worth the new price tag. A big misconception among people who are not overly familiar with the brand is that the iconic LV canvas is leather. The canvas is actually a PVC coated textile. Meaning that this item that currently retails for $520 us dollars is mostly plastic. The only leather piece on this item is the leather tab.

Material - The Toiletry Pouch 26 is lined with a man-made material that is cosmetic friendly. Making it easy to wipe. One downfall of this lining is that over time, most commonly seen in vintage pieces, this lining begins to peel. Mostly due to humidity. This can cause people to not want to purchase knowing it's prone to peeling.

Size - because it is dramatically bigger than the Toiletry 19, it can be some what hard to locate your items. It can also become very bulky and overall hard to carry.
