Midair collision then crazy spin at zero throttle with Betaflight + Airmode

During one of our fun runs after the main races of the day, I had a midair collision with someone else which threw my Vortex 250 into a spin. I saw the ground, immediately, so I thought it was rolling on the ground (which can sometimes last several seconds), so I throttled back to zero right away, and then a second or two later, I remembered to disarm. All props were intact. Airmode chose to run two motors at full throttle, which seems to perpetuate the spin instead of stopping it. We've seen this happen to 2 or 3 other quads. They clip the side of one of the gates get thrown into a spin, and then the flight controller just freaks out and keeps it spinning with the quad climbing until the person disarms and it
drops like a rock.

BTW, no damage to the quad, including the Dal 5045x3 props.
