Setting up your custom domain name in Kajabi can sometimes cause confusion, but I have laid out a step by step tutorial for each way to get going in the backend of Kajabi, including Cloudflare integration. Connecting your domain to Kajabi by using Cloudflare offers additional security and performance, which can improve the experience of your users without any additional costs.

If you choose to use Cloudflare to connect your domain to Kajabi, you'll first have to register a free account at the official Cloudflare website ( https://www.Cloudflare.com ).

After creating your Cloudflare account, you can add your domain name. Next Cloudflare will perform a DNS Records scan to ensure your domain name has up to date information and settings. After verifying the DNS Records, you'll be able to set up a Free plan at Cloudflare and move on to the next step of setting up a custom domain name in Kajabi.

Setting up a CNAME record via Cloudflare that connects to Kajabi will be the next step in setting up a custom domain. Creators can do this with the default "www" or any other subdomain (courses.yourdomain or members.yourdomain ) they may have.

Kajabi provides a Cloudflare connection guide for the next step that provides the exact text creators need to input into the box labeled "Target" in Cloudflare.

Once you've added your CNAME record, ensure that your proxy status has been set to DNS only, which can be achieved by clicking the orange cloud, which will then turn grey. After this step, simply click Save.

The last step to connect a custom URL to Kajabi via Cloudflare involves changing your nameservers to the information provided by Cloudflare.

After your nameservers have been redirected to Cloudflare, enable Full SSL on your domain name. This information can be accessed and altered in the Edge Certificate page within Cloudflare. Once there, toggle the Always Use HTTPS option on, which will redirect any users who type in HTTP rather than HTTPS when trying to access your Kajabi site.

Once complete, you can begin adding your custom domain name to Kajabi. Click the settings tab on the Kajabi Admin Dashboard, then choose Domain. Skip to step 4 and begin adding your custom domain name. Remember to click save once completed.
