Golden Hour Mountain Drone Flying in Epic Sunlight

Happy hiking and flying! Welcome to the Golden Hour edition of our Cinematic FPV Drone series. This time, we climbed the same mountain again, and we finally caught that perfect, epic sunset on the mountain that we've been chasing. With two FPV drones, two operators, one spectator, and perfect timing for the Golden Hour, we managed to capture some of the most stunning drone footage of a sunset high up on a mountain. It's truly one of the best flying experiences I've ever had.

Our plan was to hike up the mountain and capture the sunset in 4K with our Cinematic FPV Drone, particularly focusing on the warm light of the Golden Hour. And man, did it work out brilliantly this time! We made it to the mountain top just in time for the Golden Hour, and the weather was nothing short of epic. From there, we flew our drones to the next higher mountain top and captured the breathtaking mountainous landscape in the background.

The sight couldn't have been more cinematic. Flying our drones in close formation and keeping an eye on the mountain, the scenery, and each other required concentration, but I think we did quite well. Next time, we aim to fly even closer during transit between mountain peaks.

My buddy Tom from the rescue mission joined us too. Unfortunately, his drone wasn't working, so he was our spotter for the day. The situation is best described as EPIC. The mountainside is perfect for long-distance FPV flights - it has three mountain lakes, a rugged landscape, impressive mountain tops, and beautiful rock formations. All we could wish for was good weather.

The long range Paradise hike and fly edition will be out soon. No fancy editing, just Mother Nature at her best, FPV drones, lots of mountain peaks, some close proximity flying, and drone chasing. We're definitely planning another hiking tour to these spots.
