The Auction of the Ruby Slippers

These were the Arabian test version of the Ruby Slippers worn by Judy Garland that never made it to the actual film of "The Wizard of Oz." They had been a part of Debbie Reynolds' personal collection and were auctioned off for $510,000 in Beverly Hills on Saturday, June 18, 2011.

By the way, the lady leaving at the end of the bidding was Beverly D'Angelo.
