DIY external aquarium filter using a jar

How to make external aquarium filter using a jar with no leakage like a canister filter but with a pump in the tank.

This filter is placed outside the aquarium but uses an internal power head. The tube is made of medium sized jar and inside it uses a combination of filter media.

This is just an experiment that I applied to my aquarium. You can change all filter media including media arrangements based on your own concept.

How this filter works:
Water is driven from internal power head into the external filter then it will go through the order of the filter media. Clean water will flow back into the aquarium.
