Shut the migrant hotels down now and deport illegal migrants housed there
It has transpired that the migrant hotels may stay open for at least the next 4 years.

We want to see the migrant hotels shut down now and all illegal migrants housed in them deported immediately.

If we don't unite now, the numbers might grow a lot by the time it
becomes BNO 10 plus 1 or even 20 plus 1.
So I am hoping everyone sees the importance
of the UK's commitment to the BNO 5 plus one policy
and wants everyone to stick by it.

End the Injustice: Grant British Nationals (Overseas) Full UK Citizenship

We want the government to address what we feel is a long-standing injustice and grant BN(O)s full citizenship rights we think they deserve. We think this would be a recognition of their historical ties to the UK and also a reaffirmation of the UK's commitment to democratic principles & human rights.

Hong Kong's #1997 handover to China lacked a referendum, denying its people self-determination. We think this undemocratic act was worsened by refusing BN(O)s full UK citizenship, a right we think they deserved as former British subjects. The BN(O) visa offers residency and a path to citizenship, but we think it doesn't correct this historical injustice. We think BN(O)s, under British colonial rule, should have the same rights as any British citizen.

We believe this would uphold the principles of democracy and human rights by correcting historical wrongs and ending inequality.

我相信今次呢一個petition 的簽名人數多少，對英國國會考慮BNO Hong Kongers 應否維持5+1 有特別意義！

內政部批出嘅BNO visa數目係大約20萬人次，如果這個請願的簽名人數只得好少，例如得3幾萬，這樣即係比英國國會大條道理話你這20萬人當中大部分人也覺得改去10+N 也無乜所謂，咁樣情況不妙！

所以希望大家，包括配偶及子女，也認真及盡快處理這個petition!

Keep 5-year ILR terms to Hong Kong British National (Overseas) visas

We urge the Government to exempt BN(O) visa for Hongkongers from the proposed immigration reforms. We think the current ILR terms must remain unchanged:

1. Five years of UK residency
2. B1 level English proficiency
3. Passing the Life in the UK Test

The British National (Overseas) (BN(O)) route allows those with BN(O) status and their eligible family members to come to the UK to live, study and work in virtually any capacity, on a pathway to acquiring British citizenship. The current requirements for a person with BN(O) status to gain citizenship are in line with those for naturalisation, allowing a person to demonstrate a continuing connection with the UK.

The UK, in its Memorandum following the Sino-British Joint Declaration 1984 on the future of Hong Kong, made a commitment that those who were British Dependent Territories Citizens only through a connection with Hong Kong would be eligible to retain a status which, without conferring the right of abode in the UK, would entitle them to continue to use passports issued by the UK Government. It is important that the UK upholds the commitments it made as part of the Joint Declaration. We therefore have no plans to amend the current law in regard to BN(O) status.........
