Today we're having a look at the Fluke 87V digital multimeter, which many consider to be royalty among electronics enthusiasts. I know a lot of hobbyist wonder if this meter is worth spending the money on, so I thought it would be a great idea to try to put an amateur level opinion out there to help others decide if the 87V is the meter for them.

In this two part series, we'll look at the functions of the meter, what you get in the box if you buy it new, the accuracy on a few ranges (link below for full specs), and a few likes and dislikes about my personal 87V.
