Halls Creek & Wolfe Creek Meteor Crater, WA 2021

At Halls Creek, we drove 14km to Old Halls Lodge to camp $10/night. We visited China Wall, Caroline Pool and the ruins of the old ghost town where a 28 ounce nugget was found in 1885 - Old Halls Creek. Next camp was at Wolfe Creek Meteor Crater and is free. Wolfe Creek Crater is the 2nd largest meteor crater in the world (Arizona, USA being the world's largest). Wolfe Creek Meteor Crater is 300,000 years old. It is 850m diameter and 50m deep.
