SYSTEM SETUP: Sound, Date and Time Settings

It’s simple to configure the various sound settings on your Standard Audio System … and set the date and time in your Kia.
To adjust the sound settings, such as the sound position, sound tuning and other settings,
On the audio system control panel, press the SETUP key…
Then SOUND … and select the option you wish to change.
If equipped, settings can enable features like Speed Dependent Volume Control, which automatically adjusts the volume according to your vehicle speed.
POSITION lets you select where you would like the sound to be concentrated in the vehicle:
Press a desired sound position on the interior image … or use the arrows to adjust.
In SOUND TUNING, you can adjust sound levels for treble, bass and mid range.
To restore the default settings press CENTER.
And SYSTEM VOLUMES lets you adjust the volume levels for various system features, including Phone Projection.
If equipped, GUIDANCE lets you set specific alerts and volume limits to take priority over audio system volume levels.
And RADIO NOISE lets you reduce the amount of background noise.
To set the DATE and TIME, press ALL MENUS on the HOME screen …
SETUP …
GENERAL …
Then the DATE/TIME button.
To manually set the date and time, turn GPS TIME OFF…
Select your TIME ZONE…
Enable Daylight Saving Time…
And set the time display for 12- or 24-hour formats…
