EVH 5150 III 100W vs. EVH 5150 III 100S (Stealth) - Red channel comparison

Stealth is modded version of original head and here is "manual" how set them and get almost identical sound.

Original resononce is "set" on same level as Stealth is with 5/10

Blue gain pot on Stealth is in function while we are in red channel and it changes a charachter of gain. When pot is turned up it cuts the bass and it adds a gain. When pot is turned down it boosts the bass and gain is reduced. For the "same" gain character as the original a blue gain pot must be set on 3,5/10. Gain settings on the red cahnnel must be little bit higher than the original.

Bass on Stealth are stronger and for a same amount of bass you must set Stealth lower. It also effects a mid control so you must set mids lower too.
