#39 Drawing a Persian Orosi Glass Islamic Geometric Pattern - UPDATED 2020

This pattern continues to be a bit of a mystery. It's one that we haven't yet been able to find a historical example of (we being the FB geometry family: https://m.facebook.com/groups/1456961571187478?view=permalink&id=2192176770999284!).

It can be traced back to a plate in Prisse d'Avennes' late 19th centruy book of Islamic patterns frm Cairo. It also is in keeping with the Persian wood work that you see with Orosi glass facades in Iran. Regardless of it's mystery, we still love it, but would be happier seeing it in situ somewhere historically... so if you can help... do let me know!
