Fireplace Makeover with Painted Marble - The Color Craftsmen

Shannon and her husband didn't care for the color of marble on their #fireplace. A friend suggested that perhaps it could be painted. She contacted us to discuss the possibility. We assured her that it could be done - that we had done it for others in the past - and that it is a good solution because we have so many options at our disposal.

Not only can colors be custom-selected, but the style of marble to replicate as well. She chose a simple marble with sparse vein lines. She chose to have us make use of colors from her carpet, walls and furniture. The whole goal was to make the fireplace recede; to not be so dominant in the room. We think she made good choices.
