Melusine Bath Bomb Demo

This bath bomb, Melusine, is made by Lush, People often ask, “where do you get your inspiration from?” The truth is, I get inspiration from EVERYWHERE. However, there will always be 1 prominent memory that sticks out in my head. The moment the fuse was lit (sparks flew) & this crazy, serious passion was ignited. I started this channel in August 2020. 1 year prior, around August 2019, I’d just heard about Lush (yes, I was living under a rock before then) & was curious. I went online & purchased 5-7 bath bombs – no big deal! At that time, I had no clue wtf “bath art” even was. My box came in & the first thing that hit me was the scent. It smelled amazing! So that night I’d find out what all the fuss was about. I was NOT ready. The truth is- I was utterly entranced from the moment I put the first bath bomb in water! The vigorous action- foam, bubbles, fizz; the various scents at different stages of the bomb; the glittering & sparkling little bits flurrying around in the water; and, the beautiful, bold, & intense colors gushing out, creating swirls of multi-colored foam! I finally understood all the hype surrounding Lush + what the hell “bath art” was. After the show, my bath water was scented & colored (how lovely). I’d experienced bath bombs before, but nothing like this! I’d love to say that I’m reasonable & that I paced myself- but I literally did all of the bath bombs that night! Each one more interesting & creative than the last, with its own unique theme, intricate details, & creative finishing touches (colored salts, popping candy, rice paper flowers, etc.). Talk about inspiration OVERLOAD! That night is precisely the moment “IT” began- my PASSION! Plus, a long an arduous journey to figuring out how to make awesome bath bombs like the ones I’d just experienced (that'll never stop). Once I got the basic bomb recipe down, I started researching & conducting experiments. I filmed every bath bomb- mine or otherwise- to take notes on ingredients/reactions & to get ideas. I wanted to know EVERYTHING! BTW: that’s how this channel was started. One of my best friends saw me watching my [research] videos & she suggested I create a channel. Initially, I laughed & made fun of her (I thought YouTube was for kids), but eventually I saw what she saw - an outlet for my obsession- I mean “passion”. From the moment I started, I LOVED it! I’m passionate about ALL DIY bath & body projects, but, my passion for bath bombs burns just a bit hotter. I still enjoy watching bath bomb videos; they always give me inspiration & ideas– no matter how many times I’ve watched them! I’m hoping they do the same for you!
