This video captures the spectacular journey of QJ 6988 steam locomotive thundering across Illinois, from Bureau Junction to Annawan.
Maintained by the Central States Steam Preservation Association (CSSPA), the locomotive runs with classic IAIS passenger cars and a GP38-2 diesel unit as a backup. Roaring through lush green landscapes at an impressive speed, it left us breathless as we chased it along the route.
