The Long Dark Wintermute Story Mode is a mode which tells the story of two people struggling to survive and to complete a mission. The Long Dark is a dark tale that pits good against evil and light against dark. The story is immersive and impressionable. The Long Dark is another way of saying that you pass into the death... death being the "long dark". The Grey Mother is a woman who has lost much, including her eyes and has experienced great pain. She is a survivor though and does not give into despair.
