Is YouTube Copyright Getting Out of Control?

YouTube is under fire again, and this time from over 100 music artists who are waging war against the platform, saying that Youtube doesn't do enough to curb music piracy.

Even though YouTube has said music labels have gotten paid over $2 billion dollars since YT was launched in digital royalties through their Contect ID matching system (only referring to people posting music) which makes up roughly half of the music industries revenue they receive on YT.

The issue is that creators are getting 'flagged' more often than ever now for videos that accidentally included music played in the background of their video. They are then slapped with a claim which could hurt their ability to create videos in the future.
