The History of Honda's CR250 Part 1 1973-1989

This is part one of my two-part series covering the history of Honda's iconic two-stroke racer the CR250. Introduced in 1973 as the CR250M Elsinore, the CR remained the leader of the Honda motocross lineup for more than three decades. In 2007, Honda finally retired the CR when they converted to four-strokes fully for their entire motocross lineup. This first installment is going to cover the model's history through the 1970s and 1980s
