A Tribute To Harry Chapin

Four times a year, for seven years, I had the great good fortune of travelling to New York City for my job. I called on advertising agencies soliciting business for whatever television station I was working for in whatever town I was living at the time. Yes, it was an actual job back then. Manhatten was and is a vibrant, exciting experience. While the city didn't have a monopoly on creativity, it did have perhaps the greatest concentration of it in America.

This tribute to Harry Chapin, on the occasion of his 45th birthday, reminds me of those years. Theatre, music, art along with a culinary experience second to none and all on the expense account. What a life!
