I ditched Vegas Pro for the Budget version. Here's what's missing.

Vegas Pro is the 'go-to' choice in the Magix video editor lineup. But I decided to save myself some money and to try the Movie Studio edition instead, which comes at just a fraction of the price and yet contains about 90% of the features. I was only using about 10% of them any way. Was I still able to produce dank 4K content with upscaling everywhere? What COULDN'T I do any more? Find out all this and more in this incredible, thrilling filler video while I work on bigger things.

In short: Media Studio still seems to be a pretty decent editing package (that you'll get to keep forever!) but it lacks some of the specialised / useful shortcuts that I liked about Vegas Pro. Oh, and it likes resampling.

Music used:
Absorb - https://youtu.be/tnqBQvpBJwo
Reflect - https://youtu.be/EVOy2u1QUfo

0:00 - The two programs
And now for the missing features I noticed:
1:50 - Resampling!
3:16 - Batch processing
3:59 - X-AVC S render option
5:20 - Premade tracks
5:33 - Velocity
5:56 - Masking
6:47 - Conclusion
