Flying a single-engine plane to the Arctic Circle

Flying a single engine plane to Scotland and beyond on an Arctic flying adventure. See inside the cockpit, hear ATC calls, watch how I fly across the UK to our first stop on this huge flying trip.

We depart East Midlands Airport and fly IFR (Instrument Flight Rules) across to the top of Scotland to Wick Airport (EGPC). The aircraft is a Cirrus SR22T registration N123VP.

Thanks to Philippe Polman at Echelon Air who helped make this trip possible. If you want to learn to fly in the UK, hire an aircraft, or do a trip like this, check out their website: https://www.echelonair.com/
