Regine Velasquez Alcacid was honored by the Pinoy Playlist Music Festival with a lifetime achievement award Oct 1, 2023 at the BGC Performing Arts Center. The tribute had performing artists serenade the celebrant with songs she made famous.

Regine gave an emotional thank you speech and sang her hit song "Araw Gabi" with the composer National Artist Ryan Cayabyab accompanying her on the piano.
