Rocky and Smidge of smack the rack bowling decided to try a new bowling challenge. They decided to challenge each other to a 1 game winner-take-all match where they could only use a house ball. Smidge knew exactly which ball he was going to use and it was one he started bowling with about 3 years ago before he bought his own bowling ball. The house bowling ball Smidge threw was the Ebonite Big One. From what he remembered of the ball, it had a very predictable roll and transitioned smoothly through the break point. The ball has very similar RG and Diff numbers to Storm Bowling's Hy-Road Max, which is what inspired Smidge's purchase of the Storm bowling ball. The house bowling ball Rocky used was one he hadn't thrown before. It was the Columbia 300 White Dot or "WD" bowling ball. It wasn't clear what weight the ball was, but it looked like it was very similar to the Storm MIX bowling ball that Rocky typically throws, but the White Dot seemed stronger and read the lane a bit earlier and didn't have as much backend motion. The house ball challenge was a good challenge because it leveled the playing field and resulted in a very close game.
