Before submitting that initial offer, you should pay close attention to the following items during your tour:

Exterior of home:
1. Neighborhood, lot size, & curb appeal
2. Foundation cracks on the exterior walls
3. Windows for cracks & damage
4. Roof age - possible damage
5. Landscaping & grading
6. AC unit age

Interior of home:
7. Odor
8. Mold & water stains
9. Plumbing/ leaks
10. HVAC & water heater
