沖縄の古民家 A traditional Okinawan house
およそ４０年程前に、壊される寸前だった家をもらい受けて、今の場所に移築しました。家を解体し、それを組み立てなおすという経験は、実に楽しいものでした。こんな家に住める自分は本当に幸せ者だと思います。この家は最初に終戦直後に建てられたということなので築７５年程ですが、後１００年は持つと思います。古いものは大切にしたいものですね。
I'm living in this house nearly 40 years. The house was originally on the other location. When I found this house, it was scheduled to be demolished soon. I'd asked the owner of the house - If you give me the house, I'll clear the site for free, and I'd transferred it to the present location. It was so exciting experience. Houses affect people both physically and mentally. I feel happy living in this house . I feel protected by my house.
