Not Necessarily the News - 1988 Year in Review (Comedy)

Not Necessarily the News was a long running satirical news program on HBO. This episode titled "Year in Review 1988" is a retrospective on the year 1988, and featured actor / comedians Anne Bloom , Danny Breen, Stuart Pankin, and Lucy Webb. They lampoon everything from the 1988 presidential election to foreign affairs to entertainment news. It aired January 6, 1989.

Various HBO promos were left at the end for maximum late 80's nostalgia!

Technical: Recorded on a RCA VLT386 VCR onto a JVC PS Grade T-120 tape in SP mono, via average cable TV signal. Some image and audio correction applied, and upconverted to 1080p60 to preserve image quality.
