The Book of Judges tells of a man named Samson who had a special gift and special relationship with God. But Samson allowed himself to be influenced by ungodly forces. He came to a place where he allowed his walk with the Lord to be compromised, and he wist not that the Lord had departed from Him. Nothing is as important as your relationship with the Master. If you feel at all remote from Him, you must forsake all once again and follow after Him. God is calling you today to return to your first love. He is such a loving and merciful Savior, and He stands ready and willing to forgive you and receive you once again into His open arms. When you put Jesus Christ first in your life, forsaking all other things, it places you in His divine favor and grace, to be renewed in your spirit and refreshed in your heart.
