Welcome to the latest episode of the fun challenge series I am doing with my friend Gwen Wruck. Each month Gwen and I challenge each other with a product / tool / technique that we need to use for our layouts. The twist is, we BOTH have to use it! We try to push each other out of our comfort zones and we welcome your suggestions too.

This month, Gwen and I are working with PASTELS + ACRYLIC PAINT. I have to admit, I was not really surprised that Gwen challenged me to use a pastel colour palette. Having known me as long as she has, Gwen knows I gravitate towards bold and bright colours, and often struggle with softer shades. I also knew that I could push Gwen out of her comfort zone with something that rates on the mess scale, so acrylic paint was an easy choice! Now see what we both created using pastel colours AND acrylic paint!

🖌 Materials used on my layout include a Ceramcoat 'Hydrangea Pink' acrylic paint; a Hip Kit Club scrapbook kit (September 2021); Rosie's Studio die cut ephemera; Crate Paper 'Confetti' chipboard stickers; American Crafts Thickers.
