Sea Kayaking to the USS Yorktown World War 2 Aircraft Carrier
In this video we'll go on a sea kayaking adventure to the USS Yorktown location near Charleston, South Carolina. The USS Yorktown is an aircraft carrier that was commissioned in 1943 during World War 2. The USS Yorktown was also used in the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and served as a rescue ship for the Apollo 8 space mission. The Yorktown is location in Charleston Harbor fairly close to the Ravenel Bridge, a.k.a. the Cooper River Bridge. Join me as we sea kayak to the USS Yorktown in Charleston, South Carolina!
