Rethinking micro-mobility – The BMW Group Personal Mover Concept.

To increase productivity and efficiency in the workplace, colleagues from our Garching and Dingolfing plants have created the Personal Mover Concept (for internal use only), to assist in moving and carrying items inside and only at our facilities.

The Personal Mover Concept incorporates new technologies, including 3D-printing, carbon technologies, FDM (Fused Deposition Modelling) and a state-of-the-art two-component Polyjet process. It is capable of up to 25 km/h with a range of 20-30 km and weighing just 20 kg. Naturally, our colleagues are looking forward to its implementation.
