EQUINE BRIDGE TRAINING DAY | THE FUTURE FOR BRITISH BRED HORSES | HACKETT EQUINE VLOG

Hey guys, bit of an impromptu video today, I was invited by my good friend Lisa Maynard to give her a hand with her young stallion Clint at the British Breeding Bridge pathway training day at Addington equestrian in Buckinghamshire . The Bridge Pathway was designed to follow on from the futurity program the that British Breeding has been running for a number of years, the futurity program allows British breeders to have their young horses (foals - 3yr olds) graded yearly, and to gain advice from top vets and professionals, including farriers, nutritionists thereby enabling the support of young horse production from the very start. The Equine Bridge program then supports the horses and riders from the age of 4-6 assisting with all of the same professionals and again grading the horses bronze, silver, gold and elite .
for me this was a very exciting day as it has given me an insight into what will be to come for Didi next year when I take her for futurity as a yearling. what an exciting initiative for British breeders like myself.
