The State of Modern Gaming

It’s no secret that video games have changed drastically over the years. What we play, how we play, who we play with, the worlds we get ourselves lost in, the trends we see in games. Even the way games are marketed, monetized and consumed have changed. One massive change that I find incredibly interesting to think about and discuss is how games are released now vs how they used to be, because of how drastically different it’s all become.
