New York is home to the largest Jewish population outside of Israel. While many Jewish New Yorkers have expressed support for Israeli air strikes on Gaza, others have spoken out against them. One Jewish New Yorker named Tal Frieden said empathy for the Palestinian people does not equate to anti-Semitism.
