Chickenshed wins a Variety Club Silver Heart 2022 award

Chickenshed receives the Variety Club Silver Heart Award 2022 for Outstanding Contribution to Diversity and Inclusion in the Performing Arts at the Variety Club Showbusiness Awards 2022.

Variety spent an incredible evening celebrating the centenary of the BBC as well as the 70th anniversary of the Variety Club Showbusiness Awards. Singer, actor, and presenter Amanda Holden hosted a night of celebration, entertainment, and exceptional talent at the London Hilton on Park Lane

An amazing total over £650,000 was raised for Variety Sunshine Coaches, which are specially-adapted, accessible minibuses that cater for SEND (special educational needs and disabilities) schools and other non-profit organisations working with disabled and disadvantaged children and young people. Thanks to the generous donations of our guests, more children will be given opportunities to experience learning outside of the classroom.
