WB Assembly Election 2026 | নদী-পথে সুন্দরবনের দুর্গম বুথে ভোটকর্মীরা। নদী ঘেরা গোসাবার বিভিন্ন প্রত্যন্ত দুর্গম বুথে ভোট পরিচালনাই চ্যালেঞ্জের। গোসাবা ব্লকের বহু বুথে পৌঁছোনোর একমাত্র মাধ্যম-ই হল নৌকা। সকাল থেকে দফায়-দফায় EVM-ভোট সরঞ্জাম নিয়ে নদী পেরিয়েই বুথে পৌঁছন ভোটকর্মীরা।

Election officials are making their way via river routes to remote polling booths deep within the Sundarbans. Conducting the election in the various isolated and inaccessible booths of river-encircled Gosaba presents a formidable challenge. Indeed, the boat serves as the sole means of access to many polling stations within the Gosaba block. Since early morning, election officials have been crossing the rivers in successive batches, carrying EVMs and other polling materials to reach their designated booths.
