Petra by Night X Petra Bubble Luxotel - The number 1 thing to do in Jordan!

After 31 years of living in Jordan, I spent my first night in Petra. I never really thought there was a need to spent the night there, but Petra by Night was a truly unique experience.

The entire Siq leading to the Treasury is lit by candles, and since it's much less busy than during the day, you get to enjoy the walk down in complete silence.
*Keep in mind that the Petra by Night runs 2--3 nights per week, so make sure to plan your visit to Petra during one of those day. The hotels and camps around Petra can help you make the arrangements to get to and from the historic site.

Lastly but not least, what really made this trip special was staying at the Petra Bubble Luxotel. Honestly, the most amazing bubble camp/hotel in Jordan. Since the hotel itself is located approx. 15 minutes from the historic site and busy city lights, you get the most wonderful starry night experience possible!

If you are ever in Jordan, and plan on visiting Petra, make sure you stay at the Petra Bubble Luxotel, and make sure to visit the Petra by Night experience.
