Thanks for listening.

11:50 - Common themes of Satyr plays; To view society through a "fun-house mirror"
20:55 - The character of the God Dionysus; what he was God of.
23:13 - Other Gods associated with particular aspects of Dinoysus

If you've ever read Nietzsche and been baffled by what he meant by the Apollonian/Dionysian, this chapter of this book could help you at least with the Dionysian side, which Nietzsche was most interested in.

The formula in such Greek Tragedy was clear; take any situation in Greek mythos, social life, politics or history, and add Satyrs. Hilarity ensues from the juxtaposition of convention and culture with bizarrity and farce. Now I wonder what the equivalent of the Satyr is in today's art and media...?

This is just one chapter from a much larger book that I did not have time to fully narrate.
