New Gen: Motor Coil Math

Hi Guys

I guess you could say this is a throwback video. I talk about some coils that have been very successful for me.

To me it is all about finding the right ratio between output spike voltage and its current, but also in seeking the highest amplitude of magnetic b field for the least input current.
40 meters of wire does it for me.
The trifilar coils when switched with separate circuits create more output than when they are switched using a single circuit.
Bifilar coils when using one wire only are almost the same magnetic field as a single coil. Trifilar is a trade off, when using one wire only less magnetic field is made.
But when using all three wires, more current enters the motor and more spike van be captured.
It sort of gives me the idea that the coils can 'breath' better.
Having the trifilar coils on two bobbins is Just to get a better coupling/ surface area to the magnet that it has to propagate forward.

I did some calculations on the program coil64 from the coil32 website, it is awesome, it is free to download and it is recommended.

So all in all, I hope you enjoy watching this video. Thanks for watching.
Cheers JP
