The energy behind this new course is to encourage more people to learn about and embrace the Biophilic Design movement. Many more people understanding what Biophilic Design is, it is still very much a new and exciting emerging subject. For a while now, commercial spaces have appreciated the business case for supporting Biophilic Design, in that when you have elements of nature in a space, it reduces stress, aid recuperation and has a result in lots of spaces that are important to our lives. There are 3 levels to Oliver Heath’s Biophilic Design in the Home course, history, evolutionary idea behind it, level 2, taking that idea forward, explains what the 14 patterns are behind Biophilic Design, including direct, indirect references to nature and the human spatial response and their importance also to the future of the home.
