Outfeed Assembly Table Part 5: Completing the Project

Completing my Ron Paulk inspired workbench. It's already proven to be a very useful addition to the shop.

I wanted storage and mobility, hence the drawers and casters. Ron Paulk's "porthole" concept is brilliant, but I felt his was too short for my needs, so I measured my tools and made the height of the porthole deck high enough to accommodate my tallest tool--I love the ability to put my tools temporarily in the porthole deck, keeping the work surface free from clutter. I added a lot of dog holes because my old workbench often did not seem to have enough.

I've been using the bench for about 2 months now and really like it. The one thing I would do differently is to use another type of plywood for the top, and a harder wood for the edge banding (I used soft maple and it is already getting banged up).
