Record filibuster in Missouri Senate comes to anticlimactic end Wednesday
A record filibuster that stretched on longer than 48 hours has come to an anticlimactic close. Senate Democrats were holding the floor to block "deceptive" language from a ballot question that would make it harder to change the constitution. Republicans tabled the measure and punted the debate over to the House to bring the filibuster to a close.
