Is The Story of the World Worth It? Homeschool Mom Review + Read-Aloud

In this video, I’m sharing my honest review of The Story of the World by Susan Wise Bauer…aka one of my favorite homeschool resources of all time. We recently finished Volume 1, and I’m walking you through what’s inside, how we used it, and why I think it’s a perfect fit for homeschooling families.

My kids especially loved learning about Julius Caesar and the Spartans, and I loved reading the chapter about Jesus’ life right alongside them.

Whether you’re just getting started with classical homeschool or looking for something rich yet simple, The Story of the World only takes 5–10 minutes a night and has brought so many meaningful moments to our bedtime routine!!
