Buenos Aires and Kuala Lumpur are two beautiful capitals in Latin America and Southeast Asia, both cities respectably hold economic power in each region. These cities must to be on your bucket list to visit!
In this video we are comparing these two cities by having a quick look to see its infrastructures, tourist spots, cultural heritages, and modern buildings.

Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires, city and capital of Argentina. The city is coextensive with the Federal District (Distrito Federal) and is situated on the shore of the Río de la Plata, 240 km from the Atlantic Ocean. Buenos Aires is one of Latin America’s most important ports and most populous cities, as well as the national centre of commerce, industry, politics, culture, and technology. According to tradition, Spanish colonizer Pedro de Mendoza established the first settlement there, which he named Nuestra Señora Santa María del Buen Aire (“Our Lady St. Mary of the Good Air”). Buenos Aires locals are referred to as porteños (“people of the port”) because so many of the city’s inhabitants historically arrived by boat from Europe.

Kuala Lumpur
Area : 243 sq km
Metro Area : 2,243 sq km
Population : 7,996,830 (2020)
P. Density : 17,310 / sq km
Kuala Lumpur, capital of Malaysia. The city is located in west-central Peninsular (West) Malaysia, midway along the west coast tin and rubber belt and about 40 km east of its ocean port; Port Kelang, on the Strait of Malacca. It is the country’s largest urban area and its cultural, commercial, and transportation centre. In 1972 Kuala Lumpur was designated a municipality, and in 1974 this entity and adjacent portions of surrounding Selangor state became a federal territory.
Kuala Lumpur lies in hilly country astride the confluence of the Kelang and Gombak rivers; its name in Malay means “muddy estuary.”
