Stroke: The Role of CT and MRI in Diagnosis and Treatment

A 1 hour lecture designed for radiology technologists discussing the use of CT, CTA, CT perfusion and MRI in guiding aggressive stroke therapy.

The goals of stroke imaging and the evaluation of the ischemic penumbra and core are discussed.

The presenter is Dr. Richard Hicks, Chair of Radiology and Chief of Neuroradiology at Baystate Health in Springfield, MA.

Baystate Health radiologic technologists can apply for 1 hour CEU through June 2021 after completing a short quiz available through judy.budz@baystatehealth.org. This is best obtained prior to viewing the video.
