Sharpening in this way is a good basic way to start sharpening.
In no way I'm saying that this is the only and best way to do it.
My own sharpening differce alot from this, still this sharpening will keep your knife capable and sharp for your survival/bushcraft situation.
You will eventually take your own path in sharpening.
