Today we'll be looking at one of the most interesting mods for WorldBox if you're into modern warfare: WarBox, a mod that completely transforms combat in the game. Let's get started.
WarBox is a mod focused almost entirely on modern warfare. Its main idea is to add armed units, military vehicles, specialized factories, and new combat mechanics that make civilizations stop fighting with swords and start using advanced weaponry.
The first thing that catches your eye is the new units with firearms. Now soldiers can spawn using automatic rifles, which completely changes how battles play out, because attacks are no longer melee but much faster and more destructive ranged combat.
In addition, the mod adds ground vehicles such as tanks, self-propelled artillery, and armored vehicles. Each one has different roles: some can withstand a lot of damage, others attack from a distance, and others serve as support in large offensives.

One of the most interesting aspects is that these vehicles don't just appear on their own: they require special buildings to be produced.

For example, new military factories have been added, allowing for the creation of mechanized units. There are light factories, heavy factories, and even specialized structures for aircraft.
Helicopters have also been added, which are probably one of the mod's most striking units. Helicopters attack from the air and use rockets, allowing them to destroy enemy groups very quickly.
Next come airplanes, including fighters and bombers, which add a new layer to aerial combat.
Recent versions have also added a naval base and a shipyard, meaning that naval combat now plays a much more significant role.
Patrol ships allow you to expand the war to the sea and defend coastlines.
Another important detail is that the mod not only adds visual content but also balance improvements.

For example, some recent versions have reduced helicopter damage, adjusted vehicle costs, and improved army limits to prevent things from becoming excessively chaotic too quickly. A system to prevent friendly fire was also added, which is very important because previously some units could destroy their own allies.
Visually, the mod has also improved considerably.
Building textures were redesigned, and factories now have a much more modern style, with hangars, military installations, and quite detailed industrial structures.
