The sequence which is being shot is where Amrish Puri comes to India to meet and take Sakina (Ameesha Patel) at an air base after partition. Anil Sharma, the director of the movie instructs his crew about the next scene and gives direction to Ameesha Patel for the same scene.

Set during the Partition of India in 1947, a Sikh truck driver falls in love with a Muslim girl belonging to an aristocratic family.
