Q: Its asking for a product key? Where do I find that?
A: It may be on a sticker under your computer or under the battery. If not, and if the Windows installer didnt pull it from your computer automatically, you may need to purchase one.

Q: Will this erase all my data?
A: Yes, installing Windows as seen here will delete your data. You should back up your data before installing Windows. If your computer is not loading up correctly for you to back up your data ( assuming the hard drive is healthy ) then you can not delete the appropriate partition to save the data. You can also remove the hard drive, hook it up to another working computer via an external hard drive link, and remove the data that way.
