How to Layer THE ORDINARY Skincare Products // What not to mix in the same skincare routine //

This video will help you understand how to layer The Ordinary skincare products, and explain what not to mix in the same skincare routine. Contradictions between skincare products are very important! I will take you step-by-step through the Ordinary skincare routines that I use in the morning + evening, and highlight what products I use in my Ordinary skincare routine, and at what step, and why. While I am focusing on how to layer products from the Ordinary for the purposes of this video, the content can apply to similar skincare ingredients that you might be using from other skincare lines. The goal is to teach you how to layer your skincare products to get the best result, and leverage best practices in skincare.

It is very important to understand what skincare ingredients work well together, and what skincare ingredients not to mix. The Ordinary skincare routines should be developed while keeping in mind the following:

At minimum, AHA/BHA (acid exfoliators) should not be mixed with Direct Acids, Pure Vitamin C, Peptides, or Retinol/Retinoids in the same skincare routines.

Taking good care of your skin does not require a lot of products + a lot of expense. I prefer to keep my routines minimal, and focus on what my skin needs at any given moment in time.
